WHO WE ARE

Night Vision Hog Hunts is a small, friendly company started by a couple of friends that enjoy the thrill and excitement of hunting.

WE WANT TO TAKE YOU HOG HUNTING!

We offer,
to a select few, a fully guided, night vision hog hunt that includes transportation, equipment and southern hospitability that’s unmatched by anyone!

OUR LOCATION IS TOPS!

We are located in southwest Georgia in some of the most fertile agricultural land in the country. South Georgia offers several very good night vision outfittters including Jagerpro, Hog Swat, Blue Ghost, Georgia Hog Control and now Night Vision Hog Hunts, LLC. Our local farmers grow peanuts, cotton, corn and produce. These fields offer very good opportunities to spot and stalk wild hogs in the cover of total darkness. We use handheld thermal imagers to locate the animals and semi-automatic 308 caliber rifles with night vision scopes to shoot with.

ABOUT US

We begin  night vision hunting in the spring of 2010 as a hobby and to help our local farmers lessen the damage that the exploding hog population was doing to their crops. In 2 1/2 YEARS we have been able to harvest OVER 750 hogs! This was accomplished by only hunting a couple of nights per week.  Our best night was 6-4-11 when we were able to harvest 25 pigs in just one night!

The most productive fields to hunt are the peanut fields. When the peanut fields are being planted there is a critical time when the seeds are fresh in the newly tilled ground and the wild pigs go down each row of peanuts and eat the high priced seed peanuts. This usually occurs from May 1st thru June 30th. After the peanuts sprout and start to grow the pigs generally leave the peanut fields and move into the corn fields. After the peanuts start to “pin down” and put on a new crop the hogs will return. This usually begins July. 1st and lasts thru October. These times mentioned can be very productive and several encounters per night are not rare.
